Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)
Volunteering In School
The Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) helps employers make safer recruitment decisions and prevent unsuitable people from working with vulnerable groups, including children. It replaces the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) and Independent Safeguarding Authority (ISA).
The safety of pupils is paramount to use here at Camrose Primary School and so all adults have had an enhanced DBS check.
If you wish to help in school, you will need an enhanced DBS clearance. Applications are made online and are free for volunteers however, if your role is linked to a training course or work placement there is a charge of £44.00.
